All sterling silver tarnishes over time naturally, but this happens much faster when it comes into contact with perspiration, chlorinated water, direct sunlight, skin cosmetics and perfumes – so be sure to take off your silver jewellery when doing sports, taking a sauna, swimming in chlorinated or salty water, sunbathing etc.
Fortunately, caring for silver and reducing tarnish is simple – use a special jewellery polishing cloth to clean your tarnished silver items.
