The 24-karat gold layer on silver details can wear away and get thinner over time. Perspiration, chlorinated water, skin cosmetics and perfumes etc. may influence the jewellery durability and initial appearance change - so be sure to take off your jewellery when doing sports, taking a sauna, swimming in chlorinated or salty water etc.
Use a special jewellery polishing cloth to clean your jewellery items periodically.
